Children of The Woodlands is a developmental preschool that looks at the whole child. Our philosophy is rooted in hands-on, concrete experiences and believes that children learn best using all their senses. Social/Emotional skills are as important as academic (literacy, math, science, and social studies) skills. Faith development and learning about God's love is integral to our program.
In the classroom, play-based learning centers offer students opportunities to experiment and explore a variety of activities. Both small and large groups as well as one-on-one interactions allow students to practice and experience skills that teachers intentionally facilitate to meet children's individual needs in an age-appropriate way.
